Here for you as a celebrant
My name is Thomas Daamen. As an exile from Cologne and a self-confessed Rhinelander, I was literally born with a zest for life, humor and empathy. And curiosity. And having the last word.
People and their stories, their approaches and motivations, their experiences and the conclusions they draw from them have fascinated me for as long as I can remember. It's exciting for me to observe these interpersonal relationships and recognize patterns. That's the real substance for storytelling! This is the basis for your speech.
It's certainly no coincidence that I ended up in marketing and sales as or despite being an industrial engineer. What counts here is being able to engage quickly with other people, read your counterpart and intuitively draw the right conclusions. You will therefore hear me ask “Why?” or “What does this mean for you?” much more often than we deal with a chronology of events.
After more than 20 years in marketing and sales at international corporations, the time had come for a change. I was looking for more meaning, depth, and the motivation to make a direct difference in people’s lives. For over 5 years now, as a father, I’ve been caring for our three children (a 12-year-old and 6-year-old twins) full-time. And I’ve been devoting myself to my true calling: speaking.
You have the feeling that I am the right person for you?
Then let's get going! I look forward to your appointment request.
Professional Education and Certifications
Education Freie Redner
Education at "FREI-E RED-NER-INNEN“ laid the foundation. Today, continuous knowledge transfer in my personal network of independent speakers ensures that all my ceremonies have always received the finishing touches.
Graduation IHK Rhein-Neckar
Independent speakers literally learn a handcraft - or at least that's how it should be! The quality seal of IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) shows that you are working with a professional who has learned the art of public speaking by hand and has passed the examination.
EU Certification WKO
The personal certification of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKO) is the highest EU-wide recognized qualification for independent speakers. For recertification, proof of regular further training must also be provided.
