What does a celebrant do?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A celebrant creates and delivers ceremonies for special life events such as weddings, bereavements, children's welcomes or anniversaries. The focus is on your individual wishes and stories, which I weave into a personal and emotional speech. I also conduct and moderate your ceremony from the beginning to the end.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

How is the collaboration organized?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After the initial contact, we will have a detailed conversation in which you tell me about your wishes, ideas and the particular meaning of the event for you. Based on this, I will create an individual speech and support you in planning the ceremony. On the day itself, I will be at your side to ensure that the entire ceremony is carried out as discussed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

How long does a ceremony take?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The duration varies depending on the ceremony and your ideas. I recommend a duration of 40-50 minutes for a wedding ceremony, approx. 30 minutes for a welcoming party for children and 20-45 minutes for a bereavement service. I am happy to adapt to your ideas and framework.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What are the costs for a ceremony?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every ceremony is as unique as the people who celebrate it, and the costs required to prepare and conduct it vary accordingly. After our first contact, I will be happy to send you a tailor-made, non-binding offer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can we help shape the content of the speech?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Absolutely, yes! Your wishes and stories are the core of the speech. You can tell me details, anecdotes and personal ideas, which I will integrate into the speech. Of course, I can also set the desired mood. There will be enough space for this in our second conversation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

May we read the speech beforehand?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The speech is a unique story that I create for you on the basis of our conversations and that suits you 100%. There is no editing in advance. But I do recommend that you film the speech during the ceremony so that you can look at it over and over again later.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Does the independent wedding ceremony replace a civil ceremony?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

No, it does not. To conclude your marriage before the law, you need a registrar. Only after and through this formal act is a marriage legally binding in Germany.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can the civil ceremony be integrated into the independent wedding ceremony?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Yes, this is possible and a wonderful idea! It requires the willingness of your registrar to perform his formal act outside the usual rooms of the registry office. The civil ceremony by the registrar can be beautifully integrated into the independent wedding ceremony.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can a welcoming party for children be combined with an independent wedding ceremony?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Yes, that is possible. Of course, there is more space and focus for the child if a separate welcoming party for children is organized.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

How old should my child be for a welcoming party for children?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Most welcoming parties for children take place for children aged between 6 and 18 months. This is just a reference. As I have experience with all ages through my three children, we will design the ceremony to suit your child's age.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
