My name is Thomas Daamen. As an exile from Cologne and a self-confessed Rhinelander, I was literally born with a zest for life, humor and empathy. And curiosity. And having the last word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

People and their stories, their approaches and motivations, their experiences and the conclusions they draw from them have fascinated me for as long as I can remember. It's exciting for me to observe these interpersonal relationships and recognize patterns. That's the real substance for storytelling! This is the basis for your speech.
It's certainly no coincidence that I ended up in marketing and sales as or despite being an industrial engineer. What counts here is being able to engage quickly with other people, read your counterpart and intuitively draw the right conclusions. You will therefore hear me ask \u201cWhy?\u201d or \u201cWhat does this mean for you?\u201d much more often than we deal with a chronology of events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After 20+ years in global corporations, most recently as Marketing Director in Italy and Germany, the time had come for me to make a change. For more meaning, depth and the motivation to make a direct difference for people. For over 3 years now, as a family man, I have been taking care of our three children (10 years old and the twins 4 years old) full-time. And I dedicate myself to my true calling: public speaking.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
